Refund Policy for Partners
This policy is for professionals who use Hamsa Partner (the partner screens of the Hamsa Home Services app, or the separate Hamsa Partner app). It covers lead credits and payments to you. Refunds to customers are handled only by Hamsa.
Lead credits returned automatically
- The customer cancels a job you accepted (unless the customer reports you for asking them to cancel, asking for more money, or offering work outside the app).
- Hamsa cancels or reassigns a job you accepted.
- Returned credits show in your Wallet history as "Lead refund".
Lead credits not returned
- You give up a job you accepted.
- The customer cancels and reports you for one of the reasons above.
If credits were taken by mistake
- Contact Hamsa support within 7 days with the booking ID. If we find a mistake, we return the credits to your wallet.
Credit packs you buy
- Credits are added only after your payment is confirmed.
- If money was taken but the credits were not added, or you were charged twice, contact support. We refund the extra payment to your original payment method, usually within 5 to 7 working days.
- Credits you have used are not refundable. Requests to refund unused bought credits are reviewed by Hamsa; if approved, the money goes back to your original payment method.
- Free credits (welcome or promotional credits) have no cash value and cannot be refunded.
Your earnings and payouts
- For jobs the customer paid online, your share (the service value without GST, less Hamsa's commission) becomes payable 2 days after the job is completed.
- For jobs where you collected the payment yourself, you keep the money, and Hamsa's commission for that job is set against your earnings.
- Payouts are sent to your verified bank account or UPI ID in Financial Details. The minimum payout is ₹100.
- If a customer is refunded because a job was not done properly, Hamsa may adjust your earnings for that job after reviewing it with you.
Never handle refunds yourself
- Do not take or return money outside the app. If a customer asks for a refund, ask them to contact Hamsa support from the Hamsa Home app.
